Find It →These are socks. Cotton socks. But someone has gone to enormous trouble to roll them up so they look like salmon nigiri, tuna rolls, and tamago. They come in a proper takeaway box with the little plastic grass divider and everything. You hand someone what appears to be a box of sushi and for about four seconds they think you've genuinely brought them lunch.
People who love sushi but also need socks. People who enjoy that specific moment when someone's brain has to reboot because what they're holding makes no sense. Sock collectors, apparently, though I didn't know that was a thing until I started stocking these.
Because watching someone open a box expecting California rolls and finding footwear instead never gets old. The packaging is so committed to the bit that it feels wrong not to have these on the shelf. They photograph beautifully too, which means people actually want to show them off, and that is half the battle with socks.
